The Kinder Velt Center in Kropyvnytskyi was a safe haven for hundreds of Ukrainian children recovering from the trauma of war.
Here, psychologists provided free therapy — art, play, fairy-tale therapy, and the beloved Rafa Giraffe — helping children smile again, find their voices, and rebuild emotional resilience.
After more than two years of dedicated work, the center has now closed.
But Kinder Velt’s mission continues — to sustain free PTSD care for children in other regions of Ukraine, where psychologists are still offering daily therapy and emotional support.
